Dicapo Opera Theatre celebrates the Christmas holidays with two different holiday programs on Saturday, December 15, at 5:00 and 7:00 p.m., both of which will include fully staged productions of “Marie and the Nutcracker” and “T’was the Night Before Christmas,” complete with sets and costumes, featuring the Dicapo Children’s Chorus and the company’s Resident Artists. Both programs will take place at Dicapo Opera Theatre, 184 East 76th Street at Lexington Avenue.

The first program on December 15 begins at 5:00 p.m. and is one hour in length. Geared especially for families with small children, the 5 p.m. program includes a set of classic Christmas carols by the performers in addition to “Marie and the Nutcracker” and “T’was the Night Before Christmas,” and is appropriate for children from two years of age.

The second program on December 15 runs from 7:00 to 9:15 p.m. and in addition to the staged presentations, will include scenes and arias from Werther, La Boheme, and Hansel & Gretel.
