Dicapo’s “Puccini Project” continues with a once-in-a-lifetime offering that unites the worlds of opera and dance. Two of Puccini’s earliest works, Le Villi (1884) and Messa di Gloria (1880) will be presented as two halves of a majestic evening of the master’s music.

Le Villi, Puccini’s first opera, pulsates with his favorite themes of love, betrayal, and vengeance in a tale of supernatural justice. It is partnered with Messa di Gloria, where the young composer’s music freshly illuminates the timeless beauty of the Latin Mass.
