Turandot is the final presentation in the company’s Puccini Project. Since Dicapo
was founded in 1981, it has been dedicated to the music of this great Italian
composer. With this production, Dicapo will have performed every piece of music Puccini ever wrote – his operas and his instrumental and vocal works. Turandot tells the story of Calaf, who seeking to marry the Princess Turandot, must answer three riddles. If he fails, he dies. Performed in Italian with Dicapotitles.
